Scottish Boiler Scrappage Scheme – Extended Warranty terms and conditions

For those customers who have had a new Glow-worm Ultracom2, Ultracom hxi, Flexicom or Ultrapower appliance installed as part of the Scottish Government's Boiler Scrappage Scheme, to register your new Glow-worm high efficiency appliance for one year's additional warranty, on top of your standard appliance warranty:

Please provide a clear and legible photocopy of both:

  1. Your completed Government Boiler Scrappage Voucher used to claim your £400 allowance from the Energy Saving Trust Scotland, and:
  2. Your invoice received from the installer who carried out the installation of your Glow-worm system.
  • The above two photocopied documents should then be sent to:

  • Your one year's additional warranty will only be provided where:

    1. Conditions of the Scottish Boiler Scrappage Scheme, as set out by the Energy Saving Trust Scotland have been fully met
    2. Your warranty is subject to annual servicing by a competent person (e.g. Gas Safe registered for gas boilers and MCS qualified for renewable products)
  • Glow-worm reserves the right to request further validation from yourself that your Scottish Boiler Scrappage £400 allowance has been successfully paid to you by the Energy Saving Trust
  • Glow-worm accepts no liability for lost or stolen vouchers and invoices. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
  • The additional one year warranty offer extends solely to Glow-worm appliances which qualify for the Government Boiler Scrappage scheme. This additional warranty offer does not apply to any other part of the heating system you may have had installed at the same time.
  • Glow-worm reserves the right to end this offer or to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Glow-worm offer or promotion
  • Glow-worm reserves the right to refuse offer where these conditions have not been adhered to.
