a few key things to remember
Before your installer starts a job speak to them about what they are exactly going to do what rooms in your house they will need access to, find out if you need to make any preparations; covering up carpets, putting away delicate items, moving any furniture to provide access.
We've said it before but it's worth repeating: your installer must be CORGI registered. If you're able to it is worth staying close by particularly towards the end of the installation as you will need to make sure your installer does the following:
- They must fully complete the Benchmark Log Book. This becomes your certificate of compliance with all relevant building regulations and is also your guarantee.
- They must fill in the Certificate of Conformance and leave this with you.
- Your installer should also explain how your heating controls work as this will help to you operate your system efficiently
Finally, remember if you are unsure about anything, don't be afraid to ask your installer. It's their job to make sure you feel confident about the installation and how to use your new boiler.
